Julia studied visual design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd and at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design in London in the 90s. She has been working for the brand design industry in London, Berlin and Munich as strategic consultant for MetaDesign and an early member of Erik Spiekermann’s United Designers Network, as well es managing director for Zeichen & Wunder, on a wide range of global identity projects for BMW, BMW i, SAP, adidas and Skoda Auto. As managing director she joined icon incar, design consultancy for automotive user experience, to define a new holistic approach embracing user experience and brand experience.
After two decades in the corporate world she recently quit – to become an independent creative consultant for founders and entrepreneurs, as well as pursuing her profession as a keynote speaker, free thinker and writer, to be followed on her blog “diary of the digital age”. Julia lives in Munich with her husband and two sons.
